FTL CEO and Founder Miroslava has recently been announced as one of the World Economic Forum Young Global Leaders class of 2018, joining the likes of Emanuel Macron, Sergei Brin, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jack Ma and Amal Clooney, among many others.
Miroslava will be joining a global community of young leaders under 40 from around the world, who dedicate their time to help to make the world a better place. To be selected, one has to be nominated by a group of past YGL's and to be universally considered as a force for good, poised to transform industries and improve lives.
“They have been nominated because of their creativity and innovation, their ability to build bridges across cultures and between business, government and civil society, and their pioneering work in arts and culture, business, design, energy, health, public policy, sustainability and technology,” stated the World Economic Forum while presenting their Young Global Leaders class of 2018. 100 most promising artists, entrepreneurs, business leaders, public servants, technologists were asked to join the World Economic Forum’s community of Young Global leaders to think beyond their scope of expertise and be more impactful leaders. They are not only joining a community but also a 5 year programme.
This is a hugely exciting achievement for Miroslava and testament to the work that Future Tech Lab is doing together with our partners and friends in our mission to help new technologies and sustainable innovations evolve the fashion and apparel industry and improve its social and environmental footprints.
